Between the Brushstrokes
For Abstract Point of View this is more than a blog.. It’s an intimate extension of my practice as an artist, thinker, and witness.
My name is Ryan Cosbert. Many know me through my work in abstract and conceptual art, but this space offers a different kind of canvas. Here, I write through fragments, feelings, memories, and research. I explore what lives between the brushstrokes… The quiet thoughts, the loud silences, the observations I can’t always express through color and texture alone.
This blog is a place to archive what moves me: art reviews, studio reflections, diasporic histories, spiritual questions, and daily musings. I write from an abstract perspective; a lens that welcomes complexity and resists easy conclusions. It’s how I make sense of the world: not in straight lines, but in layers.
For Abstract Point of View… it is a journal, a meditation, and a conversation. It’s my way of sharing more of myself, building bridges, and finding meaning in the in-between.
Thank you for being here.
With love,
Ryan
